Ketika pertama kali Internet masuk sekolah yang aku pimpin, begitu banyak dillema yang muncul di benak ini, bisakah ini jalan in a controlled environment, something impossible in my mind. When kids are gathered and connected to the virtual world, what can you control?
Time schedule is also a big conflict for me, this is a school, it starts on 7.15 in the morning, why on earth are you doing by opening the lab for 24 hours? But I believe in one thing, you can only be a computer freek and damn competent on it when you have a loving connection with your PC, unlimited. People say it will work only for adults. Is it really "only"? I don't know the answer, to tell you the truth... I just try to do something that I believe right... Risks? The bad ones are always there...
What am I doing now? I just run it, not 24 hours though, but near it... It's hard to understand when you see young red-eye students are playing with their Internet connected PCs all night long when they have to go to school in the morning. Me myself is still struggling to view it right, you can imagine how other people see it... those conservative guys...
Let God decides what's best for us, for the kids, for my school...
